The disastrous flash flood in Nepal has erased communities from the map and wiped out communication and transportation in the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli river valley. Nearby valleys were also affected by the flooding including the Chitwan district where Erin Mooney has visited in building a partnership with U32. Official estimates are that 1.6 million people have had their lives disrupted with now over 1000 deaths and almost 4000 people still missing.
