Music is a large part of our weekly services and of our celebrations of Christmas and Easter. Our musical leaders are world-class. Erik Kroncke conducts the choir and Mary Jane Austin plays the piano and organ. Both Mary Jane and Erik have rich, busy musical lives in Vermont, from opera in Middlebury, to teaching at Northern Vermont University in Johnson and Monteverdi School of Music in Montpelier and performing in myriad concerts around Vermont. Each year Erik and Mary Jane offer an international opera workshop in Italy.

The church hosts concerts year-round. In the past few years, we’ve hosted concerts by the Montpelier Community Orchestra, Eleva Chamber Players, Solaris Vocal Ensemble, Mad River Chorale, the Waterbury Community Band, the Green Mountain Gospel Choir and the Youth Opera Workshop of Vermont.
