This year’s Strawberry Festival was a success, both socially and financially because of the contributions of so many of you — way too many to list. But for those of you who are otherwise unable to participate in various weekend activities, but who dropped off food early in the week — Thank you! For those who hulled strawberries, set-up tables, served meals, cleaned dishes, cleaned up after, got rid of garbage we couldn’t have done it without you.

According to our SignUp Genius, we had 147 slots filled. We know that many of you signed up for more than one slot and that many more came to help without signing up! That’s how you get it done!

Because Ned Davis, our Minister of Liturgical Floral Design, is out of commission for the rest of the summer and early fall, due to his surgery at the end of May, we are on our own! We can do it — the flowers can be as simply as a glass of water with some irises (or one!) from your garden — or, let your creative genius go crazy! Either way, please visit our sign up where you can pick open dates and even offer a dedication. In fact, please do write a short dedication, or simply a note saying these flowers are for our enjoyment.
