Over the last few weeks, we’ve been having trouble with the lavaliere microphone that I use each Sunday morning. Some exploration this week revealed that the problem was with the “bodypack” which is the microphone I wear clipped to my belt. A further problem is that they do not make that bodypack anymore and none that are made are compatible with our receiver which is housed in the closet in the chapel.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, we have purchased a new wireless system! The old system was installed in 1999-2000 and has well outlived its expected useful life. We trust the the new will provide years of flawless performance!
