The board of Finance is organizing one Fall Fundraiser this year. For the third year running, we’re going to make apple pies and sell them at the Williston Rest Areas on Friday, October 5. This year, we’re going to attempt to sell the left-over signup from the church lawn on Saturday. Michael Roche, a member of the Bd. of Finance, has kindly volunteered to run that experiment this year.
How can you help? We’ll need pie bakers on Thursday evening, October 4. We’ll be making 100 pies. We’ll get started with peelers at 4:30 pm. We’ll also need pie ‘hawkers’ on Friday. It’ best to have two people per shift and the two-hour shifts will be from 10 – noon, noon – 2 and 2 – 4pm.
We’ll have a clipboard to pass and there is an online signup option, as well.
