Please note the change: our Christmas Eve Service this year will be at 5 pm!

It’ll be a Christmas Eve unlike any as we celebrate together on this holy night the birth of Jesus. It’ll be an evening of music and good ol’ gospel reading — the story from Luke that provides never-ending entertainment, never-ending meaning, perpetual wonderment.

We will, as we have been all through most of this odd and frightful year, meeting via zoom. We’ll use the same Zoom link as we do for Sunday morning services (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87241248285?pwd=bVlpb2Rvblpsd3IvdHZkUkNzU0U0dz09). We will have only one service this year, as we are not limited by space. As usual, if everything goes according to technological Hoyle, the choir will sing several pieces and we’ll have a few guest readers to tell the story.

And, as always, we’ll conclude by singing Silent Night, led by our choir. Please stop by the church sometime before December 15 to pick up a candle. Also, as always, we will be taking an offering which will go, all of it, to the Waterbury Good Neighbor Fund — neighbors helping neighbors in times of need.

Please pick up a candle!
