Three Concerts

Richard Stoehr (1874-1967) Sesquicentennial Concert

Performers from Vermont (including Erik Kroncke) and Michigan will gather at Saint Michael’s College on Friday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Richard Stoehr (1874-1967), the Viennese composer who taught at Saint Michael’s after fleeing the Nazis.

The concert will be complemented by an exhibit of Stoehr’s scores and memorabilia in the Durick Library and the lobby of the McCarthy Arts Center at Saint Michael’s College, curated by College Archivist Elizabeth Scott.
